Spending a Day with the Family

On Sunday, it was family day. Téa, Lieke and Téa’s family visited the Perperikon, an old Thracian city in the Eastern Rhodopes. Together with a tour guide, they walked through the ancient ruins and the nearby forest. The weather was lovely and the view was extremely pretty, so of course, being the typical tourist, Lieke took loads of pictures. These are featured at the end of the post.

After the visit, which lasted for about 3 1/2 hours, they drove back and stopped at a restaurant to eat something. Everyone was quite tired after the long day. Téa’s little sister fell asleep on the sofa in the restaurant and when they got back into the car, Téa, Lieke and Téa’s sister slept all the way back home.

When they got home after a long day, Lieke said her goodbyes to Téa’s family and thanked them for the lovely stay. Téa played the part of the translator. The Dutch students were leaving at 3 in the afternoon the next day, and she wouldn’t see them again, as her parents would be at work and her sister would be at kindergarten.

The emotions, Lieke cannot cope with them.
